Frutina was born as a family-run business in Valdecalzada, in the
southwest of the Iberian Peninsula (Extremadura). 

Thanks to a well-established experience in this area and an ancient tradition in fruit growing, the company evolves itself projecting this Know-How in something modern and cutting-edge. Frutina is a group made up of qualified manufacturers occupying a prominent position in production, promotion and distribution in the international fruit and vegetables market. Nowadays Frutina develops a turnover of more than 10 millions of euros. It manages and organizes this group and thanks to the work of more than 2000 employees, it guarantees an extended range of products and solutions. These products come from owned plantations and from spanish and foreign affiliate manufacturers. Our team composed of 18 agronomists, take care of the quality control, in compliance of the certified standards of Frutina. In order to maximize the results we plan an accurate and efficient cultivation strategy
granting the varietal replacement in fruit growing.
Our care starts from the implantation and the observance of the policies, to the intervention on the production cycle without interfere with the natural growing cycle of the products..

Frutina starts to develop a branch following the biodynamic and organic production principles, in order to accommodate all the requests of an ever-changing market made of more and more aware and demanding customers.

Frutina coordinates a team that works more than 20.000 tons of peaches and nectarines, 15.000 tons of plums, 40.000 tons of oranges,
tangerines and lemons, 30.000 tons of pears, apples, grapes and kiwi fruits.

All the products are available in different
packages, depending on our customers transportation and distribution requirements.
